Imagine that Episode #42 was a blind date, you get set up as the guy, she shows up…likes all kinds of Rock and Roll and even drinks some Jack…which is your favorite drink as well. All in all, it starts off on the right foot and gets better from there.

Changing Times
During the past week, I have taken in my fair share of radio. Satellite and Terrestrial and was amazed at something that I heard on the “regular” radio dial. As I say on the show, I play a “random” mix of music that is catching on with the fan base seeing where the listenership and downloads are rising. But to hear what I heard this week on the radio dial in the car blew me away. A local station took my words for close to verbatim…and in so many words said “You know we can play Ozzy, The Script, and Nickelback and get away with it. Here at …..” Sound familiar? I have to say, their is a place on the dial or on Satellite for Random Access Radio. I also think that because you get to hear a “real” voice from time to time and not 20-30 production pieces shouting the names of companies, that lends to the excitement towards RAR. Times are changing, and we are going to continue to stick to the playbook. Thank you for your support as always.

I titled this show “Oh no you didn’t” because Mari (Lexington, KY) and Dizzy (Savannah, GA) always say that to me when I play music that is “out of the norm” or gets them out of their seats.
